Summer Fete 2026 - Thank You

What an incredible day!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the Harmans Cross Village Hall Summer Fete 2026 such a fantastic day.

After months of planning and preparation, it was wonderful to see the hall, field and grounds absolutely buzzing on Bank Holiday Monday. With around 2,000 people joining us throughout the day, it was certainly a busy one – and a wonderful reminder of what can be achieved when a community comes together.

To our amazing volunteers

The Summer Fete simply wouldn't be possible without the enormous amount of work that goes on both before and behind the scenes.

From those involved in months of planning and preparation to everyone who arrived early to set up, ran stalls, served refreshments, managed the parking and entrances, helped with the Flower & Produce Show, sold raffle tickets and stayed behind to clear everything away afterwards – we are incredibly grateful.

Every person who gave their time and energy played a part in making the day the success it was. Thank you.

To our stallholders, exhibitors and attractions

Thank you to all the stallholders, exhibitors, local organisations and attractions who joined us this year.

The fantastic variety of things to see, do, browse, buy and enjoy helped create such a brilliant atmosphere throughout the day, and it was lovely to welcome so many of you to Harmans Cross.

To everyone who came along

Whether you bought a raffle ticket, found a bargain at the bric-a-brac, enjoyed something to eat or drink, visited our stalls, entered the Flower & Produce Show or simply spent the afternoon with family and friends – thank you for supporting us.

The Summer Fete is an important fundraiser for Harmans Cross Village Hall, helping us to maintain and improve this much-loved community facility. We were also delighted to support our chosen charity for 2026, Purbeck Parkys, including sharing the proceeds from our Grand Raffle.

Thank you to our local businesses

We are incredibly fortunate to receive the support of so many businesses from Harmans Cross, Swanage, Wareham, Purbeck and further afield. Their generous contributions helped us put together this year's fete and Grand Raffle, and we would like to recognise:

It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces alongside visitors discovering Harmans Cross and our fete for the first time.

We hope you all had a fantastic day, and we look forward to doing it all over again in 2027!
