Roles at HXVH

The Village Hall runs entirely through the support and efforts of a fantastic, friendly and very sociable team of volunteers, and we are always keen to welcome new faces to join us in whatever capacity, or with whatever time commitment, you might feel happy.

From time to time though, we also have more specific roles available, and these are shown below.  For anyone interested in these opportunities, please contact Alison Clough (Chair of the HXVH Committee) on 07768 558341 or email at alison.an.clough@btinternet.com

Bookings and Weddings Co-ordinator - remunerated

This role offers estimated earnings of £5,000 per annum for 5-6 hours per week.  The role is responsible for taking and co-ordinating all bookings for the Hall.  For more information, please contact either Kathy Furlong (Secretary) at secretary@hamrmanscrosshall.co.uk or Alison Clough (Chairlady) at alison.an.clough@btinternet.com

Film Night Committee Chairperson

Our monthly film nights are organised by a group of willing volunteers who need a Chairperson to co-ordinate and lead activities.  The group are responsible for selecting the films to be shown; procuring the films and ensuring that necessary licence fees are paid; and then 'managing' the event on the night

Volunteers for the Management Committee

The Committee who oversee all aspects of the running of our lovely hall is looking to welcome new members. There are only 8 meetings a year which last one & a half hours.

Getting involved over and above that is entirely up to you.  It’s a good way to meet people and and out more about our village community.

Let-In Team Volunteers

Volunteers meet our one-off hirers, talk through essentials of Hall hiring and handover keys.  Then check Hall after the Hirer's event has finished.  New volunteers always welcome.

If interested in finding out more about any of these roles or if interested in the committee please contact:
